3 Important Things to Think About When Looking for an Inverter

It is a given fact that people nowadays can’t live without their electronic gadgets. Smartphones and tablets are just basic items on that list and they all need constant charging if you are a heavy user. This is why inverters have become a staple in most vehicle owner’s arsenal of tools.

What are Inverters?
For those who are not familiar with what this device could do, basically it can serve as a power source for your devices in cases of emergencies by converting the DC output from your car to an AC. There are so many options in the market for you to choose from, so it might be a little overwhelming looking for a pure sine wave inverter. Here are some things you should consider when finding the right one for you:

What to Consider when Buying an Invert?
No. 1: Quality over costs is important when purchasing an inverter. According to vehicle experts it is better to invest in a great inverter that is costlier than a cheap one because of its long-lasting quality. A great inverter can last you years and the quality of its performance is not easily compromised. To get a better sense of the quality of a product, you should look into its reviews. Customer feedback is the perfect way to see if a product is a flop or not.

No. 2: Consider the inverter’s size. To fully determine which size is appropriate for your needs, identify how often will you be using the said products? How many gadgets do you own that you’ll be carrying along rides? If you are planning on using moderately with a few gadgets, then measure each gadget’s watts and then compare which size is perfect for you.

On that tangent, if you are really unsure on the number of gadget you might bring it is always best to get a minimum of 600 watts.

No. 3: Think about portability and other key features of an inverter. Choose an inverter that is light and portable, designed to have multiple protection for the circuit of the device, can work in the state of ultrasonic sound, and can be used not just for cars, but also other types of environments such as boats, mobile office, etc.

Inverters are a great addition to your list of tools for your car and/or any other space you have because with this you are assured that your gadgets are safe from dying.

Inverters to Get More Popular as Victoria Town Contemplates Switching to Renewable Energy

It is no secret that inverters are not just used in vehicles. They are also an essential part of a rooftop solar system because they convert the electricity generated from the solar module from DC power to standard household AC power. With Victoria's Labour Party planning to encourage everyone living in the town of Newstead to switch to renewable energy by 2017, it seems that the popularity of these devices will continue to soar in the coming years.

According to reports, the Victorian Labour Party wants to convert Newstead, a town of just over 500 people on the Loddon River and about 55 kilometres from Bendigo and 120 kilometres northwest of Melbourne, to become the state's first "solar town." As part of the initiative, focus will be given primarily on the use of solar power and battery storage.

The Labour Party said it will provide $200,000 of grant funding for the local community group behind the project. This will help the organisation draw up a master plan, which is expected to include the purchase of solar panels and pure sine wave inverters. Lily D' Ambrosio, Victoria's shadow minister for Energy and Resources, said the project will greatly benefit everyone living in Newstead.

"Not only will the residents in Newstead reduce their reliance on coal fired power and cut their carbon footprint, they will be driving down household costs through cheaper energy bills," D'Ambrosio said in a statement. She added that the initiative would serve as an example of what the government and the local community can do if they work together. Environment Victoria, an organisation dedicated to promoting the use of renewable energy in the state, also agreed, saying that the initiative could create a "valuable template" that can be used across Victoria.

Meanwhile, if you're thinking of switching to renewable energy, now is the best time to invest in good power inverters. Aside from the fact that you can connect them to solar panels so you can convert the power of the sun to standard household electricity, they also enable you to use a wide variety of electronic devices and power tools wherever you are. All you have to do is to connect the inverter to the battery of your car so you can have a reliable mobile power source.

If you're looking for quality pure sine wave power inverters either for your car or for your solar panels, be sure to check out Elinz Electronics. We offer inverter of different sizes and wattages depending on your specific needs and requirements.

If you're planning to take your family out this holiday season, make sure that you equip your car with a power inverter. Inverters make the perfect travelling companion this holiday season because they can provide you with the electricity you need without having to rely on a big, bulky, and noisy power generator. Here's how this nifty piece of equipment can help you.

No 1: Power up the kids' game consoles. Children are notorious for being loud and annoying when they are bored and cooped up inside a vehicle for an extended period of time. One way to keep them from throwing a tantrum is to let them play with their game consoles. However, trouble starts when the batteries run out. But if you have an inverter in your car, this won't be a huge problem.

Pure sine wave inverters can keep the kids' game consoles going long after their batteries have ran out. This allows your children to enjoy their games to their hearts' content. Thanks to the inverter, you can travel to your destination in peace and without your kids pestering you because of boredom.

No 2: Enjoy various electrical appliances on the go. Aside from camping, boating is another favourite pastime among Australians during the holiday season. If you're planning to do this activity with your friends and/or family, preparing meals or keeping everyone entertained can be a challenge because, as you may know, boats don't usually have power outlets. As a result, you cannot easily use appliances to help you prepare meals or entertain guests.

With an inverter on your boat, however, everything is a piece of cake. You have a portable power source that you can use to power up the electrical devices you need to operate. Whether it's a blender, a microwave oven, or a stereo player, an inverter connected to the boat's battery can provide for your power needs.

No 3: Quick and reliable power source during emergency situation. While it seldom and rarely happens, experiencing a sudden power outage in the middle of the Christmas festivities is still a possibility. But with a power inverter, you don't have to worry about ruining the celebrations due to the power outage. You can just plug in important home appliances to the device until the power supply resumes.

Indeed, vehicle inverters are a huge help this holiday season. So if you want to make the most of your Christmas celebrations, be sure to find a power inverter that matches your needs. Visit Elinz Electronics and choose from a wide range of inverters we have on offer.

All You Need to Know About Inverters

Do you have an idea what an inverter is and how it works? It is basically a device that has the capability to convert a direct current (DC) input into an alternating current (AC) output. This means that the inverter will be able to turn a single voltage into a higher voltage in no time. Vehicle batteries are only capable of releasing DC voltages that are not always suitable for most appliances and gadgets. A modified or a pure sine wave inverter will be able to transform the vehicle’s DC energy into AC which is suitable for such devices.

There are two main types of power inverters: modified square wave and pure sine wave. A modified square wave inverter is a lot cheaper than the pure sine wave. However, powering up your devices, such as a TV or audio system, with this inverter will result in electrical noise that will disrupt the performance of your appliances. A pure sine inverter, on the other hand, is probably the best choice for you. Even though the price range of the inverter is higher than the modified square wave, the performance of this device is so much smoother and better. It can power-up different gadgets, even the ones with a complex network of parts, so you would have some peace of mind as you charge your latest smart device.

There are many benefits you can gain from purchasing 12v-240v inverters. The first one is that it could help you save more money because you wouldn’t have to replace your 240v appliance with 12v ones in order to function outside of your home. The second benefit you can take away from having an inverter is the efficiency of the device. An inverter is able to power-up appliances without emitting any noise or flammable fuels and fumes, unlike power generators. Lastly, the device can charge your gadgets while drive. It won’t severely interfere with the vehicle’s battery.

That is why inverters are extremely popular with camping and on-the-road excursions. The ability to power up your 240v devices such as laptops, smart devices, and TV sets truly breaks the convention of an outdoor experience.

Now that you know the perks of having an inverter you should know the size of the inverter that you’ll need. To know the answer to this, you should definitely check the wattage of the appliances and gadgets you would like to take with you in your trip. For example, a charger for cameras and laptops normally work at 150 watts. You should be able to find an inverter that could easily power up those gadgets.

If you want to buy pure sine wave 24v-240 vinverters that are durable then ELINZ Electronics is the right shop for you. The seller’s high quality inverters will be able to power up major gadgets, devices, and appliances while you are on the road.

3 Helpful Tips on Choosing the Right Power Inverter for You

Nowadays, people are constantly bringing gadgets everywhere they go, which is why a power inverter has become a staple among many car owners. This nifty device can actually help you power up a majority of your devices since cars don’t normally have enough A/C power outlets. There are plenty of models, sizes, and brands of power inverters for you to choose from. Here are three basic tips that could help you find the right inverter.

Tip No 1: Choose the right model for your needs. Most car owners are not familiar with the right power inverter model needed for their cars. Think about the quality and the price as you look for the perfect vehicle inverter for you. Don’t settle for cheap inverters that will not last long. Experts advise people to invest in a more expensive inverter because it does last longer than cheap models. In relation to the first tip, you must do your research by seeing product reviews online before making your purchase. See the reactions of other people regarding a certain product and once you have gathered the sufficient information, make your decision.

In addition, you should purchase a power inverter that has a built-in cooling fan because it is typical for inverters to build up heat while in use. This fan will ensure the proper functionality of the device. Also, models that have metal components are much more ideal to use compared to plastic ones because they are considered to be a lot more durable.

Tip No 2: Figure out the right inverter size. Inverters can come in varying sizes and you should definitely know which size is the right one for you. There are small inverters available with 100 watts of power and there are also 3,000 watts inverters that have 4 A/C outlets. You need to think about the number of gadgets you will bring before making any hasty decision. To successfully compute the necessary size of the inverter for your car, calculate the total watts of the electronic devices to be used on board. As soon as you figure out the math, it will become easier for you to know the necessary size of the power inverter you will purchase.

Tip No 3: When in doubt, install a 100 watt inverter model. This kind of inverter is the easiest to install because it is simply plugged into the cigarette lighter plug. If your budget doesn’t allow you to invest in larger power inverters, then a simple 100 watt model can still do some good.
